Commission Info September 2013

Hi guys!  I have finally gotten around to writing up how my commissions will work when they open up next month (on September 17th- see below).  If you are interested in commissioning me, please read this entire journal carefully- it will probably answer any questions you have.  If you still have a question after reading it, send me a note or an email (manlystitches@gmail.com).

Pricing (all prices USD):

Mini ponies (~5 inch w/keychain):

Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy: $100

Applejack, Rarity: $105

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash: $110

Regular ponies (~10 inch):

Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy: $200

Applejack, Rarity: $210

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash: $220

Big Ponies (~15 inch):

Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy: $275

Applejack, Rarity: $285

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash: $295

Princess Celestia, Luna: $350 (this is the only size for Princesses)

Huge Ponies (~20 inch):

Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy: $350

Applejack, Rarity: $360

Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash: $370

OC's:

OC's are the price of a Rainbow Dash in the size you want (5" = $110, 10" = $220, etc). I will charge extra for extra complicated OC's. I reserve the right to decline any OC commission, based on complexity. I do not make any plushie that is sexual, political, or religious in nature (e.g. a ponified version of a certain political or religious figure).

How to commission me:

I will be opening up commissions on Tuesday, September 17^th, 2013, at exactly 12:00 noon (CST) (19:00 in Germany- for all you german bronies). You need to email me (manlystitches@gmail.com) with the following information (IN FULL!). I will accept 30 commissions maximum, so there will be plenty of room for everyone that wants to apply:

1. Name

2. Shipping Address (street, house number, city, postal code, state, country)

3. Which pony you want, in which size

    -If you want an OC, you MUST send me a DETAILED picture of what it looks like. If you want custom eyes (besides the eye             shapes used by the mane 6 and the ponies I have already done), you need to send me a HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGE of the             eyes. You also need to send me a HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGE of the cutie mark of your OC. I can not work with a 40x40 pixel         cutie mark. I will reject your commission. (I prefer at least 900x900 pixel, but I will accept something slightly smaller). I am not a       drawing type of artist, so you will have to get someone to draw your pony for me before I can make it.

4. Do you have any special requests? (i.e. a certain eye for a mane6 pony, or the mane put on the right side instead of the left, or something else like that). I can't work miracles, but I will do what I can.  If you want a pegasus, let me know if you want open or closed wings.

5. Do you have any accessory requests? They will cost extra, but we can discuss it via notes or email. I have done small clothing items, hats, goggles, etc.

You can get a quote for anything by sending me a note on DA, or an email (manlystitches@gmail.com). You are welcome to ask about a plushie commission that is not a pony (i.e. Spike, or maybe a pokemon plushie), but I won't make any promises. It depends on how complicated it is.

How will the commission list work?

I will start on the first 10 ponies, and they will be my "active list". The remaining plushies will be on the "waiting list", and will be worked on only after I finish the first 10 completely (I will then take the next 10 on my active list). Payment will only be required for the plushies on the active list. A week before I start working on the next 10 ponies (after I finish my first "active list"), I will send emails out requesting payment for the next 10. For plushies over $250, you will be allowed to pay 50% up front, and 50% when I finish (you can also just pay 100% up front, if you want). OC ponies will always require 100% payment up front. There is a $50 non-refundable fee if you choose to cancel your commission, after you have paid. OC commissions are non-refundable (I can't sell an OC pony at a convention!).

When can I expect my plushie??

I plan to finish about 3 a week, so if you are #30 on the list, I will try to get it to you in about 10 weeks maximum. I am currently not in school (nor do I have another job besides plushie making), so I will be working exclusively on plushies. I reserve the right to work the active list in any order, but I will try to stick to the order in which the commissions were received.

Shipping and tax:

If you are in Texas, I have to charge you sales tax (8.25%). If you are not in Texas, you don't have to worry about it. Shipping will be paid by the buyer, unless you are in Houston, in which case, I can just deliver it to you (or we can meet at a meetup). 10 inch ponies usually ship for about $7 inside the US, but I will have to check on some different options on 15 and 20 inch ponies. International shipping varies, but if I put it in an envelope and ship it in the cheapest possible way, it shouldnt be more than about $15.  Message me with your location and I can get you an exact price.
